Shower Accessories

Glass gets the compliments, but hardware decides how a shower door feels every single morning: whether it swings closed with a confident weight or sags and squeaks, whether the finish still looks right after year five, whether the sweep still keeps water in. We install and service the full range of shower and glass hardware — from complete hinge-and-handle sets for new doors to the one odd sweep nobody else can find.

Make your bathroom more appealing and functional with our extensive range of bath and shower accessories — towel holders, robe hooks, soap dispensers, glass shelves, and swivel mirrors, matched to your finish and fitted by the same crew that installs the glass.

What We Supply & Service

The real beauty lies in the golden accents, chrome shimmer, and matte-finished details — in shapes, sizes, and finishes to match any bathroom.

Hardware & Parts

Hinges (wall-mount, glass-to-glass, pivot) in solid brass bodies, handles and pulls in every profile, clamps & U-channels, door sweeps & side seals cut to your door, sliding door rollers & track parts, and towel bars, robe hooks & glass shelves.

Finishes to Match Everything

Polished chrome (the classic), brushed nickel (forgiving of water spots), matte black (the modern default), oil-rubbed bronze (depth for traditional baths), and gold & champagne tones — the finish of the decade for a reason.

Why Hardware Quality Matters Here

Humidity, hard water, and coastal salt are a torture test for plated zinc hardware — the finish blisters, the hinge pin seizes, and a two-year-old door feels ancient.

Solid Brass Bodies

A frameless door hangs its full weight on two or three hinges, so the body under the finish is the whole ballgame — solid brass is all we quote for new installs.

Stainless Moving Parts

Stainless pins, rollers, and fasteners shrug off salt air and hard water that seize plated zinc in a few humid summers.

  • The price difference over the life of a door is trivial.
  • The difference in how it feels every day is not.
  • Finish-care guidance that actually works in South Florida.

Finishes That Survive Coastal Air

Salt humidity is the quiet killer of shower hardware in South Florida: bargain plated hinges pit and peel within a couple of years, and the finish often goes before the mechanism does. What holds up:

  • Brushed nickel & chrome on solid brass — the dependable defaults; chrome takes hard water spots best, nickel hides fingerprints.
  • Matte black — the current design favorite; quality PVD or e-coated black stays black, cheap painted black bubbles. We only sell the former.
  • Oil-rubbed bronze — warm traditional look; lives longest wiped dry, like all finishes here.
  • PVD (physical vapor deposition) — the premium tier: a molecular-level finish rated for decades of salt spray, in gold, brass, and gunmetal tones.

Rule of thumb for homes east of US-1: solid brass or stainless bodies, PVD if the budget allows, and a monthly fresh-water rinse on everything.

Hinges, Mounts & Load Ratings

A frameless door hangs entirely on its hinges, so the hinge has to be right for the glass and the wall. Wall-mount hinges anchor into studs or blocking; glass-to-glass hinges join a door to a fixed panel and carry the door plus half the panel; pivot hardware swings heavier doors on a floor anchor. For standard 3/8” doors, a quality pair of hinges is rated well beyond the door weight — but every notch, off-center pull, or 1/2” upgrade shifts the math, which is why we size hardware to the actual door, not the catalog photo. Self-centering closers (the hinge that pulls the door shut for the last few degrees) keep seals mating and water inside — the single most requested upgrade on existing doors we service.

How We Match Mystery Hardware

No brand marking, no receipt, no problem — that is a normal Tuesday here. We identify hardware from photos of the profile, measurements of glass thickness and hole patterns, and the patina of what failed. Exact matches go back on as OEM-equivalent; when an exact match no longer exists, we say so and quote the closest honest equivalent, including any drilling or seal changes the swap requires — before anyone orders anything. Mismatched sweeps and guides are the most common invisible cause of leaky enclosures, which is why matching matters beyond looks; our repair visits for sliding door rollers and full frameless hardware sets follow the same rule.

Shower Door Hardware FAQ

Usually, yes. Send clear photos of the hinge, handle, or sweep — including any brand stamp and screw-hole spacing — and we identify the series and finish. When a line is discontinued we source the closest equivalent in footprint and color, and we tell you honestly how it differs before you spend a dollar.

Yes — and it’s worth doing right. New hinges go on, then the door gets re-plumbed: adjusted so it swings closed squarely and latches cleanly, which most one-off part swaps skip. Done together, a door with new hinges feels like the day it was installed.

Measure the door glass thickness (typically 3/8” or 1/2”) and photograph the gap under the door and along the strike side. Sweeps come in profiles for each thickness and gap range, and most adjust within a range. With those two details we can almost always name the right part on the first try.

Brushed nickel and matte black hide water spotting best; polished chrome shows spots but cleans to like-new forever; living finishes (unlacquered bronze, some golds) age intentionally. Whatever you choose, wipe hardware dry-ish after showers and never use abrasive cleaners — the finish killer is scrubbing, not the water.

We do — hinges, sweeps, handles, and rollers can be supplied for your own install, with honest advice about what’s DIY-friendly (sweeps, handles) and what isn’t (hinge re-sets on heavy doors, which need templating tools most homes don’t have). We’d rather advise you straight than sell you the wrong Tuesday project.

The bodies of the hinges we quote are solid brass with stainless or brass pins — not plated zinc castings. Zinc hardware corrodes and seizes in humid, salty air; brass and stainless don’t. A frameless door hangs its full weight on two or three hinges, so the body under the finish is the whole ballgame.

Yes — hardware we supply and install carries its manufacturer’s warranty (many quality hinge lines are lifetime against finish and mechanical failure) plus our workmanship warranty on the installation. If a part we installed fails early, you make one call — to us, not to a warehouse.
